All of Fukujugama's dishes are hand-painted. They are made with a unique blend of traditional blue and white and red porcelain, giving them a nostalgic look. The plates are flat and shallow, but we recommend using them as a plate on top of another plate. By placing them on a simple white plate, the Western-style tableware takes on a Japanese feel. They are also perfect for serving delicacies and salt. Fukuju's wife runs her own restaurant, "Kaze no Kamae," where she serves food using ingredients unique to Arita, on dishes made by her husband. In addition, Fukuju's wife is also a teacher of table coordination, and suggests using the dishes in a dramatic way. These are dishes that were created because of this couple.
