Akae Momiji - Element Plate
All of Fukujugama's tableware is hand-painted. With a traditional sometsuke and akae, uniquely blended to create a somewhat nostalgic atmosphere. Although it is a shallow, flat plate, it is recommended to use it as a plate to place on top of another plate. By placing it on a simple white plate, Western tableware can be transformed into a Japanese atmosphere. It is also perfect for serving delicacies or salt. Mrs. Fukuju opened her own restaurant, "Kaze no Kamae," where she serves dishes made with local Arita ingredients on tableware created by her husband. As she is also a table coordination instructor, she proposes decorative ways to use tableware. This is a proposal for tableware born from such a couple.
