Somenishikimaru crest - Lucky plate

Sale price¥11,440

This is a hand-painted plate from Fukujugama. As the name of the vessel suggests, the motif is an auspicious pattern. The Ko-Imari Shochiku-bai pattern is a classic feature, but the combination of silver color and dyeing creates a modern impression on the plate. Since Ginsai is coated with real platinum, it may darken if used for a long time, so if this happens, you can restore its shine by cleaning it with a commercially available silver polish. The rim plate is similar to Western tableware, and the pattern is Japanese. It can be used as a plate for special occasions.

A lucky plate adorned with a Fukuzyugama original design.

The elaborate hand-drawn touch makes the intricate pattern look charming. Although gorgeous, the calm atmosphere makes it a versatile item suitable for various daily life occasions, such as celebrations and parties.

This auspicious plate features one of Fukuju-gama's signature designs, the marumon (circle motif). The marumon, with its continuous, unbroken circles representing infinity, is a traditional auspicious design that has been used in Arita ware for centuries.

These vessels are meticulously hand-painted by artisans, with time and care poured into each piece. The exquisite brushwork creates depth in the patterns, ensuring that no two are exactly alike. With every use, you'll experience the unique warmth of handcrafted artistry.
