ARITA JIKI - bowl LL recycled china clay
The Ball LL is a rather large size at 27cm. Ceramics tend to warp like candy in the kiln, making it quite difficult to create large, circular pieces honestly, as there's no room for error. However, thanks to the skilled shaping techniques of Mr. Sato from the ARITAJIKI team, we've achieved a thin and elegant finish. The flat bottom design is excellent as it prevents dirt and water from accumulating when washing, making it easy to clean. The surface is also carefully polished, so there's no need to worry about scratching your table. When combined with the separately sold Plate LL as a lid, it can be used as a large storage container. It's safe for dishwashers and microwaves, and even ovens, expanding your culinary possibilities. It stacks neatly and takes up minimal space. Made from heat-resistant reinforced porcelain, it boasts approximately twice the strength of regular porcelain.
