This is a new work by Soesen Seitosyo, who is familiar with the polka dot teapot that everyone has seen at least once. Showa-style retro polka-dot teapots and teacups are still in use in various places. The pattern of polka dots is carefully carved one by one by a craftsman with a tool. It is precisely because the polka dots have gone through such a process that you can feel the attachment to the pattern. This new work is a 3-type free cup series "DOTS & LINES" designed to naturally blend into life even in the Reiwa era, while applying such heartwarming handwork techniques. All designs are Scandinavian simple modern designs that young people will want to use. Consideration has also been given to the size and comfort when held in the hand. From cold barley tea to hot green tea, coffee, beer and shochu, the size is easy to use. The design direction is Shinichi Sumikawa, who has become a hot topic for designing the table tennis table for the Rio Olympics 2016.
